Site and Soil Evaluation
Soil Testing Service for wastewater treatment, also known as a site and soil evaluation, demonstrates the soil qualities and any hazards present on your property to the local health department or OEPA.
The Site and Soil Evaluation starts with general site observation of the landform and any obstructions that would effect system sizing and performance. The soil at a potential leach bed location is then excavated using heavy equipment or hand tools. Properties found in the soil profile such as color, texture, structure, water table depth and other restrictions are examined and noted in the field. These site and soil characteristics determine the size and function of the wastewater treatment system.
